Mikhail Selgis is the face of the new season of the cult “Game of Thrones” series.
People who are very similar to the "Game of Thrones" characters came from whole Russia. More than a thousand people took part in the competition held by television channel "REN TV", but only five of them were winners. Among them is 22-year-old Mikhail Selgis from St. Petersburg.
- To be honest, at first I did not want to watch the “Game of Thrones” show. All I've heard about it completely discouraged me from watching it. Then friends began to say that I was very similar to one character. And in April-May, I gave up and watched the first episode. The series hooked me so much that it was impossible to break away. I was struck by filming and costumes”, - told Mikhail.
When the casting for twins was announced in St. Petersburg, the young man went there without a second thought. Together with his friends, who were also dreaming to win. All participants had to be photographed in a special photo zone. Then the picture exposed on the Internet, and the users selected those who were similar to the “Game of Thrones” characters the most. Five best participants were judged by the jury of the channel.
- There were a lot of competitors. And I saw that many of them were really like the characters. But the more of them, the more victory will cost.
Mikhail Selgis says he and John Snow are alike not only in appearance but also in character. He says that they have a phenomenal perseverance in common. But according to friends, they have kindness and modesty in common.
- It so happened that I have been playing Jon Snow a year and a half. First, I made a costume, participated in various festivals. And now I have also been invited to play in the play based on "Game of Thrones" series, - says the young man.
