Meet Miss Dior Absolutely Blooming, the latest fruit-tinged floral from the French house. Strong without being sickly, fresh but undeniably floral, it's one of those scents you just know will pique people's interests - expect to be stopped by complete strangers on the street.

Take it from Dior's lauded perfumer creator, François Demachy: "Miss Dior Absolutely Blooming opens with a burst," he says. "The first fruity notes spring from the bottle, giving it a positive aspect. It's a composition for a joyful woman who loves life." Who doesn't want a little bit of that in a bottle?

The perfume blends opening notes of red fruit, raspberry, pomegranate and blackcurrant accord with a tingle of pink peppercorn, fused with Grasse Rose Absolute, Rosa Centifolia, Rosa Damascena, peony accord and white musk. The campaign just about sums it up: a seductive Natalie Portman lounges on a vibrant pink sofa, shot by British photographer Tim Walker.

Miss Dior Absolutely Blooming launches August 1.
