Diamond versions of Omega cult watches

Jewelry Seamaster and Speedmaster Diamond versions of Omega cult watches

When it comes to severe chronometers or "boyfriend's watches", a combination of steel and pink gold with diamonds warms the heart of any fashionista. If she relates herself to a lover of the Omega brand and plans another purchase, then this season she will have to choose between two cult options - at Baselworld we were shown very attractive jewelry versions of Seamaster and Speedmaster.

In the first case we are dealing with an emphatically female model: a light mother-of-pearl on the dial in combination with diamonds strongly claims a feminine image. In the second - Omega designers managed to gracefully combine the dial of the chronometer (three additional scales and calendar) with a tachymeter of 60-400. In fact, if life (or sailor friends) forces you to calculate your own speed while walking on a yacht, it's better to do it with chic. Swiss watch company Omega has announced new models to be shown at the jewelry watch-house of BaselWorld 2017.

The Swiss watch company Omega was founded by Louis Brandt in 1848 in La Chaux-de-Fonds. In 1965, Omega Speedmaster watches were selected by NASA for the Apollo program, in 1969, American astronaut Buzz Aldrin visited the Moon wearing them and Soviet naut Alexei Leonov wore them in orbit during the docking of the Soyuz and Apollo ships in 1975 . In January 2017, the company first began selling watches through Instagram: a limited edition of Speedmaster's "Speedy Tuesday" Limited Edition was sold in less than a day.
