Now Deva is working on another project - she plays the main role in the Netflix series "Leopard". Based on the novel by Giuseppe Tomasi di Lampedusa, the series is set against the backdrop of social revolution in Sicily in the 1860s.

According to Deva, a cinematographer’s camera evokes a completely different sensation than a camera on a fashion shoot.

“As a child, I often went to the set to visit my parents, and it was interesting for me to watch how an idea became material. Participating in a film project allowed me to experience very intense moments that helped me grow,” she said.

19-year-old Deva said that her parents supported her while working on the painting, but tried not to interfere in the process. "My parents gave me advice, but they allowed me to make my own decisions and make my own mistakes. They are always there for me, they inspire me and give me confidence." 

Deva notes that she has inherited life views that are characteristic of both the French and Italians. "Like many French people, especially Parisians, I have a kind of madness in me that allows me to get things done quite quickly. But there is also that Mediterranean part of my DNA that makes me appreciate the sweetness of life: good food, a nice evening with friends , dream".

Deva Cassel is also successfully making a career in the modeling field: she often takes part in fashion shows, and she has also appeared on several covers of glossy magazines. She recently became the face of the Sisley brand. As the daughter of celebrities, she also faces criticism amid the debate about nepo babies - the privileged children of stars.
