What do we know about the new girlfriend of Marat Safin Aida Garifullina

We told you that Marat Safin (36) dates the opera singer Aida Garifullina (28). Rumors about the relationship between the actress and the athlete began to appear in the media a year ago, but the couple only now has decided to finally go public with their relationship and published a joint picture on Instagram. We have decided to figure out who Aida Garifullina is.

Aida - a famous Russian opera singer and soloist of the Vienna State Opera. She has performed with such masters of opera, as Dmitri Hvorostovsky (53), Placido Domingo (75), Jose Carreras (69) and Andrea Bocelli (57).

Aida was awarded the title "Honored Artist of Tatarstan" in 2013.

Aida was born in Kazan in 1987 year. Her mother - Lyailya Ildarovna Garifullina - chorus conductor, director of the Center for Contemporary Music of Sofia Gubaidulina, the Honoured Art Worker of the Republic of Tatarstan. Not surprisingly, Aida became an opera singer: Lyailya Ildarovna inculcated a taste for academic art of music in daughter from an early age.

In 2007, Aida went to Italy to study opera singing skills at the University of Music and Performing Arts.

In 2013, Aida won the first prize at the Operalia, The World Opera Competition, founded in 1993 by Plácido Domingo. Since 2014 Garifullina is a soloist of the Vienna State Opera.

Marat Safin commented on his relationship with the singer, and has shared the reasons for which he kept his relationship a secret: "I do not want to say anything about Aida. I'm scared to jinx us, - said Marat Safin. - I can only say that she is the most charming, charismatic, talented, intelligent and beautiful. She has all the qualities that can have an ideal woman".
