Vogue Living and Schumacher have released a collection of wallpapers and fabrics

Designed by Hamish Bowles Vogue Living and Schumacher have released a collection of wallpapers and fabrics

Why not the legendary fashion magazine and no less legendary House of Textiles combine their efforts and develop a joint collection of textiles and wallpapers? This is how the international editor-in-chief Vogue Hamish Bowles and creative director of Schumacher Dara Caponigro thought and went to study the archives of the brand in search of the most extraordinary prints. Since 1889, when the history of Schumacher began, they have accumulated decently. The new collection has 17 motifs, the bulk of which are references to the famous prints invented by Paul Poiret during his cooperation with the brand in the 1920s. Others are drawn under the impression of the legendary drawings, of which Vogue magazines were in the jazz era.

Flower motifs correspond to favorite directions in interior decoration: here are cotton and Tudor embroideries from romantic English country houses, exotic textiles like in Moroccan riads and plenty of flax for Provencal and Tuscan villas. The collection can be found on the Schumacher website and in many interior shops around the world.
