Designer satirizes gender stereotypes in a series of illustrations
Yang Liu's illustrations were collected in the book "Man meets Woman"
A lot has been said about gender stereotypes, but this topic is certainly not exhausted. Chinese-born graphic designer Yang Liu, with the help of minimalist illustrations collected in the book “Man Meets Woman,” clearly demonstrated the most obvious gender stereotypes that we often encounter in everyday life and which we are accustomed to not noticing. In her illustrations, for example, a man doing housework and childcare is an example of a modern man, and a woman is an ordinary housewife; a man travels with one suitcase, and a woman needs several bags for luggage; men love action movies, but women find them boring by definition - and so on.
